John's CV is a work of art, a story for the ages — and we'll be the ones to tell it. He works across borders, training both regulators and institutions in the public and private sectors, and undertaking intensive research and advisory roles. With 30+ years of eGRC expertise, he is a former Director of Group Compliance at a major South African bank and a founding member of The Compliance Institute Southern Africa. An industry leader, he has shaped governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across financial services both locally and internationally. With his extensive knowledge, skills, and experience, he has set the stage for anti-financial crime approaches across jurisdictions, underpinned by data-driven insights. John will always, without fail, ask you what success looks like. He is also a published author and lectures in an NQF-accredited Compliance Management postgraduate qualification.

His expertise spans Over-the-Counter Derivative Provider (ODP) and Financial Services Provider (FSP) licensing, compliance processes and frameworks, and enterprise risk management.
